June 2007 From the Trustees
New meeting date What’s happening in our neighborhood? New trustees have been voted for the 2007-year. Chuck Himes has volunteered to continue his role as President; with Ron Carobine as the Treasurer and Cynthia Vande Water as Secretary and Vice President. The Website should be updated shortly. The trustees can be reached via the Website. I will check the website twice a week and field the questions and concerns and forward them unto to the Trustees. We all have very busy schedules and I ask for some patience. After reading the comments, I will then follow-up with a phone call to you to acknowledge your concerns. 1. We also would like to discuss the sign on our monument. If you have not noticed the sign is severely warped. The company that we had create the signs have been none responsive to any requests made to correct it. We would like to hear your ideas on the purchase of a new vendor or ideas to remedy the situation. We have already received the majority of payments for 2007; Liens are being placed on the remainder of homes that dues have not been paid. 2. Our neighborhood guidelines states that trashcans should not be stored at the front of thehouse while waiting for trash day. The guidelines also state that you should only have your can on the curb during pick up time. Thank you for removing your garbage can and recycling bin from the curb after pickup. The streets look very nice empty. 3. We are considering a neighborhood picnic again this year in the same place. Mike Prasse has generously offered to head that up again this year. Please check with Mike to see if there is anything you can add to help. 4. The Fourth of July parade is scheduled for July 4th. The parade will start at Oak Creek Center and end at Orange Middle School. Join your neighbors at South Old State and support the Orange Township parade. Don’t forget your chairs and maybe umbrella. 5. A request has been made for an audit of our financial affairs. I am currently looking for someone to accomadate this request. We also need to check to see what amount is in the budget for this, if any. I realize there are other expenses that need our attention as well. We will do our best. - The Trustees
Scheduled Meetings · June 27th
Spring is getting near and we are all planning our spring projects. Residents are reminded that the trustees must approve plans for construction on their lots (e.g., a deck). Without an approved plan, residents will be required to remove, at their expense, construction that violates the deed restrictions. This is to preserve the beauty of our neighborhood and value of our homes.
We would also like to remind everyone that dumping unwanted items and waste in the commons area is prohibited. In the past it has cost the Association $500+ to remove waste that has been dumped. We will make every attempt to charge the guilty party directly.
Donations Services: Instead of throwing away items that someone else can use, why not donate them?
