Oak Creek East Homeowner’s Association Meeting Minutes

March 21, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 7:40pm. 

Treasurer’s report was given and budget was reviewed.    Question was raised –are
we a corporation or a non-profit?  The difference would mean not paying sales
tax.  Budget for 2007 was unanimously accepted. 

Minutes from previous meeting unanimously accepted. 

Lawn care bids were reviewed.  Decision to hire Shearer for 2007 season was unanimous. 

Front entrance monument needs to be repaired and possibly replaced with an all-
stone monument.  Broken street sign also needs to be repaired.  Doug Byers has
some contacts that we possibly could use for each job.  Fence needs to have a
new coat of creosote (sp?) and also some repairs.  Lights at front entrance are
not always on per Mike Prasse.  Also some roads need to be repaired by township. 

Chuck Himes raised the issue of extended terms of trustees for two or three
years instead of one and staggering the exit of veteran trustees to eliminate having
an entirely new board of trustees.  Nominations were accepted for trustee
positions.  Chuck Himes will remain president, and Erin Clark will remain secretary
until a replacement is found.  Ron Carobine was unanimously voted treasurer. 

The next meeting date is in June.  Date to be checked and posted to website.
