Oak Creek East Homeowner’s Association
Annual Meeting
March 23rd at 7:30 p.m.
What’s happening in our neighborhood?
At our annual meeting we will again be voting for our neighborhood
trustees. Since our neighborhood acquired control we have had trustees
from Aurora Ave. and Coldharbor Court, it would be nice to have
representative from other streets in the neighborhood. There will be
several open positions, and without three trustees, the township will
make decisions for us. These decisions would most likely included an
increase in association dues to pay for a management company.
1. The corner monument light is scheduled to be done this spring. We
also have an estimate from our landscaper of $360.00 to repair the stone
wall that was damaged during construction.
2. We have already received the majority of payments for 2005, please
contact a trustee if you have not paid your dues. Payments that are
received after April 1st will be accompanied by a late fee of $25. Thank
you!
3. Now that we have Rumpke as our township trash hauler, please be sure
to remove your garbage can from the curb. Our neighborhood guidelines
state that you should only have your can on the curb during pick up
time. Won’t it be nice to only see garbage cans on Wednesday night and
Thursday!
4. Street Signs are being finished. You may have noticed that many of
the backing for the stop signs have been removed. They will be grouting
them and re-installing them with in the next few weeks. They will also
be leveling and “tweaking” a few other signs. Thanks for your patients!
5. On January 18th, several of us met to discuss the Woods at Polaris
Condo Project. After a lengthy discussion, we now understand that the
road will not go through to the mall and that the condos are rather
upscale. If you have time this spring, we encourage you to take a walk
over to the model and take a look. While you are there be sure to check
out the entire plan for the finished condos.
6. A resolution requesting changes to the zoning code that would allow
the ten hole golf course and high-end home/condo complex on the farmland
just across South Old State Road and North of the Aurora Ave. entrance
is nearly completed. A vote by the township zoning commission is
expected soon.
7. Townships annual clean up day is just around the corner. Please plan
to help clean up our common areas and roadsides the first weekend in
May.

Scheduled Meetings
• September 21st
All meetings are from 7:30pm to 9:00pm in the Orange Township meeting
hall on Orange Rd.
Construction
Spring is getting near and we are all planning our spring projects.
Residents are reminded that plans for construction on their lots (e.g.,
a deck) must be approved by the trustees. Without an approved plan,
residents will be required to remove, at their expense, construction
that violates the deed restrictions. This is to preserve the beauty of
our neighborhood and value of our homes.
We would also like to remind everyone that dumping unwanted items and
waste in the commons area is prohibited. In the past it has cost the
Association $500+ to remove waste that has been dumped. We will make
every attempt to charge the guilty party directly.
